I know it's been a while since our last post but hopefully know that planting has been finished we will have time to be more punctual on our posts. We will also be posting current pictures as soon as the crops have grown some. At present, all the crops have germinated and the second planting has been completed. The second planting will allow for an extended harvesting period.
We've added another small field of about 10,000 sqft this season and intend to further add additional field space next season which will significantly increase our ability to assist families in need of food. Last month, April, we were able to assist a number of families in the Chino Valley & Paulden area with the small non-perishable foods we have had donated. We are always in need of additional non-perishable foods. Once harvesting begins, we will be able to assist many more individuals and families.
