In Philippians, Paul writes: “I press on toward the goal
unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” I don’t believe the
Lords will object if I rephrase Paul’s comments here to read. “We press on
toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of fulfilling what God has
called us all to do in Christ Jesus.”
I can’t even begin to tell or explain here every thing that
has to be yet done and accomplished in our efforts to increase the amount of
food available to feed those in need in our community. One of the biggest
initial hurdles is Spreading the word about what we are going. The old adage of
“The best advertising is word of mouth” is so important for us. If you feel
like we do that what we are doing is as important as we do, I encourage you to
help us “talk it up” as they say. The simple fact is that the more people who
know about our efforts, the more people who are likely to join in these
